The lettering for the Micra in blue and cream
La Marzocco has built the Linea Micra in several colours, and some of them come with their own lettering. This logo carries the number D.4.087 and is listed in the manufacturer’s parts list for the blue and cream versions.
It sits exposed on the surface, with no protective edge – and that is exactly why every cloth and every cleaning agent catches it. Typical signs are lettering that has gone dull, a corner that lifts, or no logo at all because it did not come off intact when the housing was replaced. Technically nothing is missing then, but the machine looks unfinished.
When it is due
Replace the logo if it is scratched, dull or tarnished. If it lifts in one spot or no longer holds. If it was damaged during disassembly. And if you fit a new housing – used lettering on fresh sheet metal stands out immediately.

Our own routine, not a manufacturer specification: before we put on a new logo, we lay it dry on the surface and mark the corners with two strips of painter’s tape. Only then do we glue it. Lettering that sits slightly crooked cannot be corrected without being damaged when you peel it off – and the second logo then costs as much again as the first. Once everything is in place, we pull the first shot: on the Micra we like to use Nutty Delight, for something more chocolatey Cozy Chocolate, for something stronger Very Nutty. Everything under Coffee beans.
No returns
Spare parts are excluded from exchange and from return. They are procured to order and cannot be resold once they have been installed or test-fitted on the machine. So before you order, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a quick line and we will check the fit together. Your rights in the case of defective goods remain unaffected.
