The back of the GS3, smooth again and without lettering
The GS3 is a machine you put on display, not one you hide. On kitchen islands, in showrooms and in open-plan kitchens it stands freely in the room – and then the back is just as much part of the picture as the front with the pressure gauge.
This panel comes without a logo. If you want your GS3 to finish off calm and flat at the back, you fit it as it is; if you want the lettering, you add it separately. The part becomes useful above all when the old panel has dents after years of use or a screw point has torn out. Part number C.1.045.
When it is due
The panel is dented, scratched or warped at one edge so that it no longer sits flush. A screw hole no longer holds because the panel has been taken off and put back on too often during servicing. The surface has become dull in one spot. Or the machine has moved house and taken a knock right at the back.

What goes with it

From our workshop in Bern and Zurich
Our own routine, not a manufacturer specification: we first fit a new GS3 back panel loosely with all screws and then tighten them crosswise. If you go round in order, you end up with a corner sticking out – and on a machine that stands freely in the room, you can see that from every seat. Afterwards a few shots as a check, usually with the Nutty Delight. For more chocolate, go for the Cozy Chocolate; for more strength, the Very Nutty. Everything else under Coffee beans.
No returns
Spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are sourced specifically for each order and cannot be resold after installation or a test fitting on the machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a line and we will clarify the fit together. Your rights in the case of defective goods remain unaffected.
What colour is this back panel?
The number C.1.045 has no colour suffix, and we do not claim a colour that has not been specified to us. The coloured versions are Black (C.1.045.60) and White (C.1.045.50). If in doubt, send us a photo of your machine.
Is a logo included?
No, this panel has no lettering. We carry the Logo for the GS3 back panel as a separate item.
Are screws included?
We have no breakdown of the scope of delivery; we assume the panel comes as a single part. If fastening material is missing, we will put it together for you.
Does it fit every GS3?
The number is assigned to the GS3; we do not have a breakdown by year of manufacture. Send us the serial number and we will check the fit before you order.
