Black all the way to the back – the back panel for the dark GS3
A black GS3 relies on being black throughout. As soon as a different panel sits at the back, that is exactly what stands out – especially on a kitchen island or in a showroom, where the machine can be seen from all sides.
This back panel carries the colour code .60 and comes without lettering. It is the part you replace when, after years of use, the old panel has dents, scratches or a torn-out screw point. Part number C.1.045.60.
When it is due
The black surface is worn in one spot or shows a light scuff, which is particularly visible on dark paint. The panel is dented or an edge sticks out. A screw hole no longer holds. Or the machine has been transported and took a knock at the back.

Who it is for
For owners of a black GS3 who want their machine to look all of a piece again. For workshops that restore the outer shell before resale. And for anyone who does not want to take any risk with the colour shade and therefore orders the item with the matching colour code.

From our workshop in Bern and Zurich
Our own routine, not a manufacturer requirement: with dark housing parts, we work with gloves and never place the panel directly on the workbench, but on a cloth. Black surfaces pick up every scuff, and that almost always happens before installation, not afterwards. Then a few shots as a check, in our case usually with Nutty Delight. It gets more chocolatey with Cozy Chocolate, stronger with Very Nutty. Everything else under Coffee beans.
No returns
Original spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are procured specifically for each order and cannot be resold after installation or test fitting on the machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a quick line and we will clarify the fit together. Your rights in the case of defective goods remain unaffected.
Is this a black that matches my machine?
Number C.1.045.60 is the factory black version. The documentation does not give us an RAL shade, so we do not claim one. If your machine is from a special series, please send us a photo before you order.
Is a logo included?
No, this panel comes without lettering. The logo for the GS3 back panel is a separate item.
What is the difference from the panel without colour suffix?
The standard version C.1.045 has no colour code. Black is .60, white is .50. Three items, same shape.
Are screws included?
We do not have a breakdown of the scope of delivery; we assume it is the panel as a single part. If mounting hardware is missing, we will put it together for you.
Can I see the part in person at your shop?
Yes. Drop by in Bern at Gerberngasse 44 or in Zurich at Hagenholzstrasse 50b. Bring the old part with you and we will compare them together.
