The grid every cup on the Micra stands on
The drip tray grid holds the cup during every shot and catches everything that misses. It is the part that gets handled most often: out to empty, into the sink, back into the tray. On a machine that runs every day, that adds up to a few hundred movements a year.
And it shows: the edge gets chipped from knocking against the sink, the cup surface is scuffed bare by the bottoms of cups, and coffee that dries between the bars leaves a brownish film over time. At some point the grid no longer looks clean, even after washing.
When it is due
Replace the grid when it is warped and wobbles in the tray. When a bar is broken or the surface is no longer flat. When the surface is so scratched or discoloured that you can no longer get it clean. When limescale has built up in the edges and will not come off. And when it has been dropped and bent – a bent grid never sits steady again.

The drip trays of the Linea Micra and Mini R
We carry eight items around the drip tray of the Linea Micra and Linea Mini R: four complete trays for the Micra, one for the Mini R and three individual parts that sit on or at the tray. Which one belongs to your machine depends on the model series – and on the Micra also on the finish.
Complete drip trays Linea Micra. Stainless steel, SA008, Black, SA008.60, White, SA008.62 and Light blue, SA008.63. All four share the base number SA008 and differ in their finish.
Linea Mini R. Light grey, SA727.71. Its own model series, its own number, its own price – a Micra tray does not fit there.
Individual parts around the tray. Drip tray grid Linea Micra, C.1.654.01 – i.e. this product, Drip tray cover Linea Micra matte black, C.1.656.60 and Drip plate Linea Mini R, C.1.756.01. They are sold individually and are not automatically part of a complete tray.

From our workshop in Bern and Zurich
Our own routine, not a manufacturer's specification: we don't put drip tray grids in the dishwasher, but soak them once a week for ten minutes in warm water with a coffee grease remover and then brush them out between the bars. Dishwasher salt and hot drying take the shine off the surface in the long run – and the very part that is seen most becomes dull as a result. Once everything is back in place, we pull the first shot: on the Micra we like to use Nutty Delight, more chocolatey with Cozy Chocolate, bold with Very Nutty. Everything under Coffee beans.
Returns excluded
Service parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are sourced specifically for each order and cannot be resold after being installed or test-fitted on the machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or send us a quick message and we will check the fit together. Your rights in the case of defective goods remain unaffected.
Frequently asked questions
Is the drip tray included?
No. Only the grid is supplied. The tray is a separate product and linked above.
Does it also fit a Linea Mini?
No. This grid has the number C.1.654.01 and belongs to the Linea Micra. The Mini has its own part.
Can the grid go in the dishwasher?
We advise against it. Dishwasher salt and hot drying make the surface dull over time – washing by hand is gentler.
Can I replace it myself?
Yes. The grid sits loosely on the drip tray and is simply swapped.
Can I see the part in your showroom?
Yes. In Bern at Gerberngasse 44 and in Zurich at Hagenholzstrasse 50b. Let us know beforehand and we will have it ready for you.
