MHW-3BOMBER Air Blower – one squeeze and the grounds are gone

You squeeze the soft silicone bulb, a short “pff”, and the last crumbs of coffee grounds fly out of your grinder’s chute. A few puffs later, the rim around the burrs is clean too, without you having to poke around with your finger. The Air Blower from MHW-3BOMBER is the handy tool for the job.

The Air Blower is a silicone bulb blower. When you squeeze it, air flows out through a stainless steel nozzle. When you let go, the bulb draws in fresh air through a filtered air inlet at the back. A soft, elastic cap on the nozzle protects delicate surfaces from scratches.

Where it helps every day

At the grinder, you blow coffee grounds out of the chute, off the burrs and out of corners no brush can reach. Away from the coffee bar, the blower helps you dust off camera lenses and keyboards.

Air blower or brush?

The two complement each other. A brush loosens stuck grounds, the blower blows them out where bristles can’t reach. In our experience, the combination is fastest: brush briefly, then blow. Against coffee oils on the burrs, you still need a thorough clean now and then from our machine and grinder cleaning range.

Who it’s made for

For everyone who wants to keep their grinder clean between deep cleans, especially with single-dosing grinders, where a little coffee tends to stay in the chute after grinding. And for anyone who also wants to keep a camera or keyboard dust-free.

Tip from our café: In our experience, a quick puff into the chute pays off especially when you switch beans, so old residue doesn’t end up in the next shot. You’ll notice it when you move from the bold Very Nutty, with lots of body and hardly any acidity, to the elegant Jungle Flower from Peru: that way the single origin reaches the cup unaltered. For everyday in between, we like the nutty, chocolatey Cozy Nut espresso blend. You’ll find all varieties among our coffee beans. That’s our recommendation, one of many.

What goes with it

You’ll find more accessories for your grinder under grinder accessories and spare parts, and cleaning products for burrs and machine in our machine and grinder cleaning range. For spout and counter: the MHW-3BOMBER microfibre barista cloth. All tools from the brand are in the MHW-3BOMBER collection.

Frequently asked questions

What is the MHW-3BOMBER Air Blower for?

For blowing coffee grounds out of the grinder chute, the burrs and espresso accessories. You can also use it to dust off camera lenses and keyboards.

What is the Air Blower made of?

The bulb is made of silicone and the nozzle of stainless steel. A soft, elastic cap on the nozzle protects delicate surfaces, and the air inlet at the back has a filter.

Does the blower need electricity or compressed-air cartridges?

No. It works purely by hand: squeeze, and the air flows out of the nozzle. When you let go, the bulb draws in new air through the inlet at the back.

Does the Air Blower replace cleaning the grinder?

No, it complements it. It removes loose grounds; against coffee oils on the burrs, a thorough clean now and then helps, for example with grinder cleaning tablets.
