Normcore Single Dosing bean tubes, set of 12 (glass)

Clear glass that shows the beans, and a quiet click when the lid closes. Twelve tubes stand neatly in the stand, each with a portion ready. In the morning you take one out, unscrew it and fill the grinder – no scale, no open bag.

The glass version of the large 12-piece set with airtight single-dose containers.

What makes this set special

Each glass tube holds one portion and keeps it airtight. The valve in the lid lets out the CO2 that freshly roasted beans release as they degas, while oxygen stays out. Glass is odour-neutral and does not take on aromas, even with oily roasts.

The containers are made of glass with silicone and stainless steel. A silicone funnel makes filling easier, and the acrylic stand keeps the twelve tubes organised. Whether you prefer glass or polycarbonate is a matter of taste, and that is just our view, one of many.

Who this set is for

For everyone who grinds single doses, pre-portions larger amounts and prefers an odour-neutral glass container. Twelve tubes are enough for around two weeks of daily espresso or for several coffees side by side. All coffee journeys are welcome here.

Pairs well with

The tubes work hand in hand with the grinder – affordable and very good with the Varia VS3 or Comandante C40 from our coffee grinder collection, with higher demands on materials at Weber Workshops. You’ll find dosing cups, dosing funnels and WDT tools in our Normcore collection.

Fresh beans for filling are in our coffee bean collection. If you are still choosing your equipment, use our advice tool.

Frequently asked questions about the Normcore bean tubes

What is the difference between glass and polycarbonate?

Glass is odour-neutral and scratch-resistant, polycarbonate is lighter and shatterproof. Function, capacity, and valve are the same for both.

How much fits in one tube?

About 25 to 28 g – the amount for a single-dose shot.

What is the valve in the lid for?

It lets out the CO2 that fresh beans release as they degas, while keeping oxygen out.

Are the tubes suitable for ground coffee?

Yes, you can store both whole beans and ground coffee in individual portions.

Roastery tip

Pre-portioned, freshly roasted coffee tastes best. For dense, sweet espresso we like to reach for Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight. If you like it full and round without any acidity, stay with Very Nutty; for something fruity, Wild Peach goes into the grinder. That is our recommendation, one of many, and any bean you enjoy is the right one.
