Latte Art
If you can pour, you can pour latte art with almost any pitcher. The shape of the spout shifts the possibilities in the details: a narrow, pointed spout allows finer lines, such as multi-tier tulips, sharp rosetta leaves, etching-style outlines or swans. The pitchers from Normcore and Dario Pieber are known for this. A wider spout gives a calmer milk stream.
This pitcher has a classic, pointed spout without an extended tip. The dark inner wall shows the milk level less clearly than bare stainless steel; that is a matter of habit.
Care
Hand wash only, not dishwasher safe. Use a soft sponge or microfibre cloth with mild washing-up liquid and dry the pitcher well afterwards. No harsh cleaning agents, no scouring pads or pot scrubbers: otherwise the coating can become dull, peel or scratch.
For the same reason, the manufacturer advises against metal thermometers. An alternative is a stick-on temperature indicator, such as the Accutemp from Rhino.

Can the Rhino Teflon Pitcher go in the dishwasher?
No. Hand wash only with a soft sponge or microfibre cloth and mild washing-up liquid, then dry well. Dishwashers, harsh cleaning agents and scouring pads can make the coating dull, cause it to peel or scratch it.
What does the non-stick coating do?
Milk and foam stick less to the inner wall. The pitcher pours out more completely and cleans faster.
How many drinks does 950 ml make?
950 ml (32 oz) is enough for two to three milk drinks per round. Only fill the pitcher far enough that the milk has room to grow while frothing. For one to two drinks, the 600 ml size is handier.
