Over the course of its production series, Rocket increased the thickness of the Mozzafiato side panel from 8 to 14 millimetres. That sounds like a minor detail, but it is in fact the one measurement that matters when you order: a panel from the wrong generation does not sit flush, and you can see it straight away.
This item is the newer, 14 millimetre thick version for the left side. It does no work inside the machine – it alone decides whether your Mozzafiato looks on the counter the way it did on day one.
When the panel is dented, scratched or warped. When it no longer sits cleanly after transport. When a used machine should look as good again as its internals have long been.

For anyone whose newer Mozzafiato runs flawlessly inside but has suffered on the outside – and for dealers who want to make both sides match before reselling.
The panels differ in side and in thickness – and the thickness decides whether they fit. If in doubt, measure your old panel:
We don't stock a right-hand panel of the 1st generation. If you need one, write to us – we'll request it for you.
For the Mozzafiato we stock, among other things, the complete steam wand with valve, the steam and water tap and the drip tray grille. All parts for your model are listed under Rocket Mozzafiato spare parts and Service parts.
We tighten panel screws crosswise and only hand-tight – if you fully tighten one corner first, you put stress on the sheet metal and the edge sticks out. And when polishing, always wipe in the direction of the grain, never in circles. That's our workshop routine, not a manufacturer specification. For dialling in afterwards we use Nutty Delight, for chocolatey notes Cozy Chocolate and for body Very Nutty. All roasts under Coffee beans.
Service parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are procured specifically for each order and cannot be resold after installation or a trial fitting on the machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a quick line and we'll clarify the fit together. This does not affect your rights in the case of defective goods.
Measure your installed panel at the edge. The 1st generation is 8 mm thick, the 2nd generation 14 mm. If you're unsure, send us a photo and the serial number.
No. The two sides are mirror images and have their own part numbers. We stock the 2nd-generation right panel as a separate item.
No, the panel is supplied on its own. You keep using your machine's screws.
Yes. It is screwed on from the outside, so you don't need to open the machine. Still, disconnect it from the mains first and let it cool down.
Yes, in Bern at Gerberngasse 44 and in Zurich at Hagenholzstrasse 50b you can see it in person.
