Over the course of its production series, Rocket made the Mozzafiato's side panel thicker: from 8 to 14 millimetres. That is not a detail for collectors – it is the difference between a panel that sits flush and one you have to send back. This item is the early, 8-millimetre-thick version for the left side.
The panel does no work: it holds no pressure and carries no water. It alone determines how your machine looks on the counter – and that is exactly why a dented panel is the flaw that bothers most and is easiest to fix.
When the panel is dented, scratched or warped. When it no longer sits cleanly after transport. When you want to bring an older Mozzafiato visually back up to the standard its technology underneath has long since reached.

For owners of an early Mozzafiato that runs well inside but has suffered on the outside – and for dealers preparing a used machine for resale.
The panels differ in side and in thickness – and the thickness decides whether they fit. If in doubt, measure your old panel:
We do not stock a right-hand panel of the 1st generation. If you need one, write to us – we will enquire for you.
For the Mozzafiato we stock, among other things, the complete steam wand with valve, the steam and water tap and the drip tray grille. All parts for your model are listed under Rocket Mozzafiato spare parts and Original spare parts.
Before we order a panel, we measure it at the edge with calipers and write the figure directly on the order. Twice in the past we relied on the year of manufacture – and twice we ended up with a panel that did not fit. That is our workshop routine, not a manufacturer's specification. For dialling in afterwards we use Nutty Delight, for chocolatey notes Cozy Chocolate and for body Very Nutty. All roasts under Coffee beans.
Original spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are sourced specifically for each order and cannot be resold once installed or test-fitted on a machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a quick line and we will clarify the fit together. Your statutory rights regarding defective goods remain unaffected.
Measure your installed panel at the edge. The 1st generation is 8 mm thick, the 2nd generation 14 mm. If you are unsure, send us a photo and the serial number.
Because the manufacturer prices the two generations differently – the older version is reproduced in smaller quantities. The price has nothing to do with the material thickness.
No, the panel is supplied on its own. You keep using your machine's screws.
Yes. It is screwed on from the outside, so you do not have to open the machine. Still, disconnect it from the mains first and let it cool down.
Yes, you can see it in person in Bern at Gerberngasse 44 and in Zurich at Hagenholzstrasse 50b.
