The side panel is the first thing you see of your machine. It does no work, it holds no pressure, it carries no water – and yet it decides whether the Mozzafiato on the counter looks like a well-kept machine or like one that has already fallen over at some point.
A dent from transport, a scratch from moving it, a mark that can no longer be polished away: if that annoys you every time you look at it, a new panel is the simplest repair there is. It is screwed on from the outside, without anyone having to get inside the machine.
When the panel is dented, scratched or warped. When it no longer closes cleanly after transport damage. When you want to bring a second-hand machine up to the visual standard it deserves.

For anyone whose Mozzafiato runs flawlessly on the inside but has suffered on the outside – and for dealers who refurbish a used machine before reselling it.
The panels differ in side and in thickness – and the thickness decides whether they fit. If in doubt, measure your old panel:
We don't stock a right panel of the 1st generation. If you need one, write to us – we'll request it for you.
For the Mozzafiato we stock, among other things, the complete steam wand with valve, the steam and water tap and the drip tray grille. All parts for your model are listed under Rocket Mozzafiato spare parts and Original spare parts.
We always tighten panel screws crosswise and only hand-tight – if you fully tighten one corner first, you put the sheet metal under tension, and then the edge sticks out. And when polishing, always wipe along the grain, never in circles. That's our workshop routine, not a manufacturer specification. To dial in afterwards we use Nutty Delight, for chocolatey notes Cozy Chocolate and for body Very Nutty. All roasts under Coffee beans.
Original spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are sourced specifically for each order and cannot be put back on sale after installation or a test fit on the machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a quick line and we'll clarify the fit together. Your statutory rights regarding defective goods remain unaffected.
Measure your installed panel at the edge. The 1st generation is 8 mm thick, the 2nd generation 14 mm. If you're unsure, send us a photo and the serial number.
Not in our catalogue. Write to us and we'll request it for you.
No, the panel is supplied on its own. You keep using the screws from your machine.
Yes. It is screwed on from the outside, you don't need to open the machine. Still, disconnect it from the mains beforehand and let it cool down.
Yes, you can see it in person in Bern at Gerberngasse 44 and in Zurich at Hagenholzstrasse 50b.
