The rod that holds everything together at the back
The cup rail of the R Cinquantotto is not made in one piece. This item is the rear rod – the part that closes off the rail at the back and keeps the cups from wandering over the edge.
This also makes it the item you need on its own when the rest of the rail is fine. That is the more common case: the rear rod takes most of the knocks when handling the milk jug. The part number is A059906933.
When it needs replacing
The rod is bent and the rail sits crooked. The surface is scratched or dull and can no longer be polished up. Signs of rust appear at one of the mounts. Or the rod sits loose in its holder and rattles.

Who it's for
For anyone whose machine has exactly this one part bent or scratched – that's considerably cheaper than replacing the whole rail. If the rail as a whole is worn out, we stock it complete, with and without R engraving.
What goes with it

From our workshop in Bern and Zürich
We no longer try to straighten a bent rail rod. Polished stainless steel tube develops ripples when bent back, which you see immediately in the light – and the material is already weakened at the bend. Replacing is more honest here than rescuing. That is our experience, not a manufacturer specification. Afterwards, there's an espresso at ours on the freshly tidied tray, ideally the Nutty Delight, the Cozy Chocolate or the Very Nutty. Returns excluded
Original spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are procured specifically for each order and cannot be resold after installation or test-fitting on the machine. So check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine before ordering – or drop us a line and we'll clarify the fit together. Your rights in the event of defective goods remain unaffected.
