Wiedemann grinder lid in smoked oak for the Eureka Mignon
Dark wood on top of the hopper: the Wiedemann grinder lid replaces the standard lid on the 300 g hopper of the Eureka Mignon. Order online, click & collect in Bern and Zurich.
The lid is made of solid smoked oak and handmade in the Wiedemann workshop in Germany. According to Wiedemann, you swap it for the existing lid by hand. Wood is a natural material, so grain and colour differ slightly from piece to piece.
The burrs, grind setting and dosing of the grinder stay unchanged. The lid changes how the grinder looks and feels, not how it grinds. Our opinion is one of many.

Frequently asked questions
Does the lid fit my Eureka Mignon?
Wiedemann specifies the 300 g bean hopper of the Eureka Mignon. It does not fit the 200 g hopper of the MCI series. If you are unsure, send us a photo of your hopper before ordering at [email protected].
How do I care for the wooden lid?
Not in the dishwasher. According to Wiedemann, a little water does not harm the surface, but regular contact with water can make it look matt.
Does the wooden lid change the grind?
No. The lid only closes the hopper at the top. Burrs, grind setting and dosing stay unchanged.
Which woods are available?

Tip from the roastery: We only fill the hopper with what will be ground in the next few days and keep the rest sealed. On the Mignon we like grinding Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight best, dense and full-bodied with notes of chocolate and nuts. For maximum body without acidity we go for Very Nutty.
