Hario Coffee Mill Prism 24 g – an angular hand grinder for on the go
The angular shape sits surprisingly well in the hand, doesn't slip while grinding, and the ceramic burr set gives an even grind – compact enough to take anywhere.
The Prism is a hand grinder with an elegant, angular design. We carry Hario at Coffee Coaching Club.
Shape and burrs
The angular housing isn't just for looks: it grips securely while grinding and stands stable. The ceramic conical burrs grind evenly, stay sharp for a long time and don't heat up the grounds. The grind size is adjusted with click stops, practically from underneath. With a capacity of around 24 g, the Prism is built for one to two cups per grind and for travel.

Who it's for
For anyone looking for a compact hand grinder with a clear design and a secure grip – for home and on the go. If you grind larger amounts, check out the Skerton line among the hand grinders ; for espresso-fine, very consistent grinding, there's the Comandante.
What goes with it
A V60 NEO 02 or an AeroPress, filter papers from the Hario Collection and a scale from the Normcore line. Beans like the well-rounded Nutty Delight or the fruity Wild Peach.
Frequently asked questions
How much coffee does the Prism hold?
Around 24 g per grind – enough for one to two cups, making it ideal for on the go.
How is the grind size adjusted?
With click stops from underneath the burrs. The click stops make it easy to find a setting again.
Is the Prism suitable for espresso?
It's made primarily for filter, French press and pour-over. Espresso-fine, very even grinding is more consistent with steel-conical or electric grinders.
Roastery tip
Grinding right before brewing keeps the aroma fresh – especially with the delicate notes of light roasts. Well-rounded with Nutty Delight, bright and fruity with Wild Peach. That's our recommendation, one among many.
