One move of the hand, and the machine glides to the side. Underneath, what nobody has seen for months gets clean.
Small details, big effect – that's what Lelit calls this set itself, and in everyday use both hold true. The taller feet lift the machine a little off the worktop. That makes it easier to move and makes cleaning underneath possible in the first place. And it changes how the machine stands: a little lighter, a little freer, with a visible line between metal and worktop.
Four wooden feet, all fitting components and an Allen key are included, along with fitting instructions. The conversion can be done at home and needs no other tools.
With the wood, you have the choice. Zebrano is an exotic wood with a bold, striped figure that gives the machine something individual. Smoked OAK, smoked oak, goes into deep, calm tones with a dense grain and looks more understated. Every piece turns out differently, because wood is a natural material.
That something like this affects enjoyment sounds like too much, and yet it's measurable: design, material and colour change how we rate what then arrives in the cup. Perception doesn't begin with the first sip, it begins with looking. Still: nobody needs wooden feet on an espresso machine. You want them or you don't, and both are fine. Our opinion is one of many.

For anyone with a compatible Lelit machine who likes to keep their worktop clean – more collects under the machine than you'd think. And for anyone who likes the look. Both are good reasons, and the second needs no justification.
It's the most affordable way to change something on a Lelit, and that's why it's not a small one: no budget is merely a starting point. You can see which Lelit machine you have among the Lelit espresso machines; matching wooden knobs in the same woods are in the portafilter handles and replacement handles collection.
Once the wood is on the machine, the portafilter is the next step: the portafilters and bottomless portafilters collection has the Lelit models with zebrano and Smoked OAK handles, bottomless and with two spouts.
And for the tools alongside: for anyone who wants an affordable, precise tamper, WDT tool and scale, the Normcore barista tools are the way to go – Spring-Loaded Tamper, WDT tool, compact scales. If you want more, you'll find the Weber Tamper and the Moonraker at Weber Workshops, and an app, flow-rate display and Bluetooth with Acaia.
All Lelit machines with Pagaia, plus MaraX, Elizabeth, Victoria and Kate. If you're unsure which generation you have, just drop us a line.

The machine is easier to slide across the worktop and to clean underneath. Then there's the visual effect: the machine stands a little more freely on the worktop.
Technically, none. Zebrano shows a bold, striped grain, while Smoked OAK goes into deep, calm tones with a dense figure. It's a decision about how the machine looks in your home.
That depends on whether the Lelit machine feet are on display right now. Our showrooms in Bern (Gerberngasse 44) and Zurich Oerlikon (Hagenholzstrasse 50b) show a wide selection, but not our entire range – it is too large for that, and the display changes. Drop us a quick line at [email protected] before your visit, and we will check whether the Lelit machine feet are currently there.
Once the machine is off the worktop anyway, a fresh start is worth it: rinse the group head, change the basket, put in fresh beans. Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight are our first choice for this – dense, round, caramel and chocolate. If you're after maximum body without any acidity, go for Very Nutty, and if you're curious, Wild Peach offers a fruity experience on the side. That's our recommendation, one of many; any other bean works just as well.
