La Marzocco Multi Portafilter 3-in-1 – for Linea Micra and Linea Mini R

The multi portafilter (La Marzocco part number A.5.186) is supplied as a base holder, without spouts and without a filter basket. You fit the spouts, made of PPS, a heat-resistant plastic, as needed. Without a spout, the holder works bottomless.
Bottomless, you see how the water runs through the puck: evenly, or with individual channels. That is feedback for grind size and puck preparation, not a verdict. Every shot is different, because the bean, the humidity and you yourself change every day. What counts is the cup. As a starting point for the ratio, we use 1:2 by weight, not by time.

What does 3-in-1 mean for the multi portafilter?
You use the same portafilter bottomless, with a single spout or with a double spout. The spouts are fitted or left off.
Are spouts and filter basket included?
No. You receive the base holder. La Marzocco offers the single spout (A.7.028.01), double spout (A.7.027.01) and filter baskets separately.
Does the multi portafilter fit my machine?
La Marzocco specifies it for the Linea Micra and the Linea Mini R. We make no compatibility statement for other models.
How fast is delivery?

Can I see the product before buying?
You can see it live in our showrooms in Bern (Gerberngasse 44) and Zurich Oerlikon (Hagenholzstrasse 50b). Not every part is on display in both showrooms at all times. A short message to [email protected] is all it takes.
Tip from the roastery: Bottomless shows how a coffee behaves in the basket. With Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight you see a dense, dark stream, and in the cup chocolate, caramel and nut. If you are looking for maximum body without acidity, choose Very Nutty. If you like it fruity, discover Wild Peach. Other beans work just as well. That is our recommendation, one of many.
