Etzinger etzMAX P – on-demand espresso grinder with integrated scale
Peak-hour service in the morning, cup after cup: one press of the red START button and the etzMAX P grinds fresh on demand into the portafilter, weighs as it goes and stays cool even under a rush.
The etzMAX P is the on-demand version for commercial use – with a large hopper, integrated scale and a cooling system designed for peak times.
Grinding mechanism, scale and cooling
The RRB mechanism with a rotating grinding ring and the anti-static device ensure even grounds without troublesome static. The built-in ACAIA scale works to about ± 0.1–0.2 g and can be run in timer or weighing mode. The Rush Hour cooling system keeps the grinder cool in continuous operation. Retention is under 1 g, single dosing is possible.
Construction and upgrades
The housing of the grinding mechanism is die-cast zinc for good heat dissipation, the grinder body is aluminium, with a solid front plate and red START button in front. The modular construction makes swapping and cleaning easier, and the grinder can be converted to a filter version (Filter Kit). Various colours and versions are available.
