A knob that does what your hand tells it again
The KB90 stands in businesses where a lot of work gets done, and fast. Its controls feel it: the rotary knob is gripped thousands of times, with milk residue on the fingers and often in a hurry.
When the seat is worn, the knob spins freely or sits loose, and the valve can no longer be closed cleanly. Part number F.1.128 refers to the rotary knob of the KB90.
When it is due
- The knob spins freely or sits loose on the spindle.
- The plastic is cracked, discoloured or chipped.
- The valve no longer reaches the stop cleanly.
- After a valve service, the old knob is damaged.

Who it is for
For businesses with a KB90 that want their front complete and easy to grip again, and for service technicians who order the knob along with the valve service.
What goes with it
From our workshop
On KB90 machines in businesses, we check all rotary knobs for play at every service, before anyone complains. A knob costs little, a breakdown on a Saturday morning costs a lot. That is our experience from Bern and Zurich, not a manufacturer specification. On the counter next to it there is usually Nutty Delight, everything else is in our coffee beans.
No returns
Service parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are sourced specifically for each order and cannot be resold after installation or a test fit on the machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or just write to us and we will clarify the fit together. Your rights in the case of defective goods remain unaffected.
Frequently asked questions
Is the spindle included?
No. Only the rotary knob is supplied. We stock the spindle separately.
Does the knob also fit the GB5?
Number F.1.128 belongs to the KB90. For other model series, send us the serial number.
Is it the knob for steam or for water?
Both sides of the KB90 use the same knob type. If in doubt, send us a photo of the front.
How is it attached?
Via the valve spindle and the matching cap. Work on the machine when it is cold and switched off.
Can I see the part in the showroom?
Yes. In Bern at Gerberngasse 44 and in Zurich at Hagenholzstrasse 50b.
