Olympia Express Piston Rod Seal Cremina – Original Part from Schwanden
The original piston rod seal for the Cremina brew group – it sits inside the brew group and seals the piston rod. A wear part for general maintenance. Original part from the Schwanden factory, precisely matched to the Cremina brew group geometry.
What makes this seal special
Internal seal of the Cremina brew group
Unlike the external brew head seals (silicone or PU), the piston rod seal sits inside the brew group. It is only replaced during service when the brew group is completely disassembled.
Part of the complete seal set
Also included in the Cremina brew head seal set (250406) – if you are planning a general overhaul, the complete set is the more efficient solution. This individual seal is useful for spot repairs or as a spare.

Individual seal or complete set – an honest comparison
Individual seal (250264)
This seal here. For spot repairs or as a spare part.
Brew Head Seal Set Cremina (250406)
For general maintenance: all seals plus circlips in one package. More efficient if you are disassembling the entire brew group anyway.
Who this seal is made for
For Cremina power users who maintain the brew group themselves and specifically need an individual seal. Also useful as a spare part.
Accessories that fit the brew group service
Cremina brew group assembly jig as a necessary tool: in our Olympia Express Collection. Complete seal set: also there. Silicone or PU brew head seals: same collection.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need tools for installation?
Yes – the Cremina brew group assembly jig (240124) and prior experience with brew group service.
Should I buy the complete set instead?
If you are completely disassembling the brew group anyway: yes. The complete set is cheaper than all individual seals combined.
Where can I buy the seal or see it live?
Online via coffeecoachingclub.ch. On-site in our showrooms in Bern (Gerberngasse 44, 3011 Bern) and Zurich (Hagenholzstrasse 50b, 8050 Zurich). Drop us a quick line at [email protected] before your visit, and we will check whether the product you have in mind is currently there.
Roastery Tip
For planned general maintenance, the complete set is the honest choice – this individual seal makes sense as a spare part or for very specific repairs. Our opinion, one of many.
