Profitec Pro 700 Flowprofil – Dual Boiler with Flow Control
Control the water flow yourself, not just the grind size and dose: The Pro 700 Flowprofil gives you an additional adjustment screw on the brew group via a flow profile valve. Underneath is a dual boiler with an E61 brew group and a quiet rotary pump – from Profitec, a German manufacturer based in Bammental near Heidelberg, which manufactures by hand in Germany and Italy.
Coffee Coaching Club is a Profitec partner in Switzerland. When you purchase a Profitec machine, a barista course in our roastery in Bern or in the Zurich Oerlikon showroom is included – in German or English. Swiss warranty and after-sales support included.

Flow Control via Flow Profile Valve
With the flow profile valve, you can adjust how quickly the water hits the coffee grounds in the brew group. A low flow at the beginning of the extraction reduces the risk of uneven extraction (channeling).
Dual Boiler with Two PIDs
The coffee boiler and the steam/hot water boiler are separate and independently controllable, with a secondary display of the flow time. The steam boiler can be switched on and off via its own switch.
Rotary Pump and Fixed Water Connection
The quiet rotary pump keeps the pressure steady. Switchable from water tank (3 L) to fixed water connection. No-burn steam and hot water wands, grid shelf to shorten the distance to the brew group.
Boiler and Key Data
Coffee boiler 0.75 L, steam boiler 2 L, both made of stainless steel and insulated, heaters with 1200 watts (coffee) and 1400 watts (steam), boiler and pump pressure gauges, large drip tray (approx. 1 L). Weight approx. 31 kg.

Who it's for
For everyone who wants to experiment with water flow beyond grind size and dose. Those who want to consciously design the extraction and reduce channeling will find an additional level of control here.
What goes with it
A precise coffee grinder like those from the Eureka series, a tamper and fresh beans like Cozy Chocolate or Nutty Delight. More in the Profitec collection.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does Flow Control do?
You control how quickly the water hits the coffee grounds. A gentle start makes the extraction more even and helps to bring out the aroma cleanly, especially with light roasts.
Can I connect it to the water line?
Yes. It can be switched from water tank to fixed water connection. We can set up the connection upon request during delivery.
How long does it take to heat up?
Allow about 20 minutes for the E61 brew group to reach a stable temperature.
Can I see it before buying?
Gladly. You can see it live in Bern and Zurich Oerlikon. Just let us know and we'll have it ready.
Is the barista course included?
Yes, the course in Bern or Zurich is included with the purchase of a Profitec machine.
Roastery Tip
Start the extraction with a low flow to gently wet the puck, then open it slowly. Especially with bright, acidic roasts, this creates a balanced, clear espresso. Experiment with different curves at your leisure. This is our recommendation, one of many.
