Timemore Black Mirror DUO – scale with flow rate and dripper ring
The DUO shows two values at once: the total weight and the amount extracted so far. The dual-arm load cell reacts instantly to every change – you see live how quickly the water is running through the coffee. A rotating ring on the housing lets you stop the flow instantly. Seven years of development, recommended by Van Lin, Taiwan National Barista Champion.

Who it's for
For anyone who wants to visualise brewing details and experiment. The DUO shows in real time whether your pouring technique is even. The rotating dripper ring gives you complete control – you don't stop with a second hand, but with your wrist. A tool for home baristas who bring science and craft together. If you prefer something simpler: Black Mirror Basic 2.

Frequently asked questions
What does the dual display show?
On the left, the total weight (coffee + water); on the right, the extracted amount. This lets you adjust your recipe by result, not just by time.
How does the dripper ring work?
You turn it – that stops or releases the water flow instantly. Handy for all-in-one pour-over without a second hand.
Is it Bluetooth-connected?
No, this version is cordless and analogue. No app needed – the display shows everything.
Can I see it?
Our showrooms in Bern (Gerberngasse 44) and Zurich (Hagenholzstrasse 50b) show a wide selection, but not our entire range – the display changes. Drop us a quick line at [email protected] before your visit, and we will check whether the product you have in mind is currently there.
Tip from our coffee roastery
With the DUO in pour-over: work with Nutty Delight, watch the flow rate and adjust your pouring technique. That's our recommendation, one of many.
