Eureka weighing plate for Precisa scale
More surface for the portafilter: the Eureka weighing plate is shaped to fit the Precisa digital scale and, according to the manufacturer, enlarges the support surface so the portafilter stands steady while weighing. Order online, click & collect in Bern and Zurich.
The plate is made of metal, measures 184 × 105 mm, is 14 mm high and weighs 416 g. The Eureka logo is laser-engraved. Only the plate is supplied, without the scale.
If you pull espresso by weight, the portafilter goes on the scale for every shot. We grind fine, start at 14.5 g and work our way up from there, usually to 17 g, at a ratio below 1:2. Then taste decides. Our opinion is one of many.
