Kikooni Cosmetic Bag “Blue Leo” – hand-printed cotton
Cream cotton fabric, leopard spots in black and grey-blue, plus a blue-and-white striped binding along the zip. The cosmetic bag “Blue Leo” keeps care products, make-up and small items together – in the bathroom, in cabin baggage or in a handbag.
Kikooni is a label from Munich, founded by Claudia and Adelheid Zähle. The bag is made in a small workshop in Jaipur, India: the cotton fabric is printed by hand with wooden blocks (block print), followed by Kantha stitching with cotton thread on a sewing machine. A handmade tassel on the zip completes the design. As every piece is printed by hand, the pattern sits slightly differently on each bag than in the pictures.
This version is lined with water-repellent polyester; parts of the gallery also show the version with striped cotton lining.

Care
For bags with a water-repellent polyester lining, Kikooni advises against washing, as repeated washing can reduce the effect of the coating and change the fabric. Clean marks locally with a damp cloth and a mild cleaning agent. No machine washing, no tumble dryer, no bleach.
