Normcore Knock Box Knock Drawer Size S
One short knock against the bar, the puck drops into the drawer, the drawer slides back: the Normcore Knock Box Size S catches the coffee puck right under the grinder.
A flat knock drawer made of 304 stainless steel with rubber, 28 cm wide, 14 cm deep and 7 cm high. Normcore calls this size «S (Compact)», available from us in black and white.
Features of the Knock Box S
304 stainless steel for daily use
According to Normcore, the drawer is built from solid 304 stainless steel and handles daily knocking without denting, rusting or wearing out.
Emptying in one motion
Pull out the drawer, knock the portafilter firmly against the inner bar, and the puck drops into the drawer. No coffee grounds on the counter, no extra step between shots.
Room for several rounds
The drawer holds several pucks. Normcore describes emptying it once per shift instead of after every shot.
Stable, flat footprint
The low design sits securely under grinders and on workstations. The grinder goes directly on top of the box, while the drawer stays freely accessible in front.
Dampened components
Rubberised components make knocking quieter and, according to Normcore, reduce wear over time.
Two sizes, several finishes
Normcore makes the drawer in two sizes and in the finishes black, white, silver and black with walnut handle. You'll find Sizes S and M in our Normcore Collection and among our knock boxes and drawers.
The details in everyday use
The drawer pulls all the way out of the housing. That way you empty it directly over the bin or the compost.
Normcore recommends Size S especially for compact grinders such as the Niche Zero or Fellow Ode. For more volume and a larger footprint, there is Size M (31.5 × 17 × 8.5 cm).
