The three-layer rib system
The inner ribs are structured in three zones. The Seal Layer brings the paper into clean contact with the dripper, so extraction starts evenly. The Flow Layer guides the water down in a controlled way and keeps the flow steady. The Coffee Layer ensures the coffee bed is saturated evenly. Together, this results in a clean cup with a smooth, predictable Drawdown.

Timemore 01 filter papers fit directly. Common conical 01 papers can also be used.
What's the difference between the PCTG and glass versions?
In the material: PCTG is lightweight and break-resistant – good for on the go. Borosilicate glass feels more refined and is heat-resistant. The rib system is identical.
