65 mm burrs and on-demand
At its core works a set of 65 mm flat burrs in hardened steel. They cut the beans into even particles – the foundation for a clean, dense extraction. Built doserless, the LUNA grinds on demand straight into the portafilter: every dose fresh, with no reserve of grounds and little loss.
Touchscreen, stepless, hands-free
Through the 3.5-inch touchscreen display you program your doses and call them up. The grind setting is adjusted steplessly and to the micron, fine and repeatable. Start runs through the switch in the portafilter holder – your hands stay free while the grinder doses. With espresso there's no right or wrong: grind size, dose and ratio are the variables to work with, a good starting point is 1:2.
