The tray that catches everything, every day
The drip tray of the Appartamento sits in the wettest part of the machine. Rinse water, residual pressure from the group, milk splashes, knocked-out coffee grounds – everything lands here, and everything sits for a while. No other sheet-metal part of the machine ages as quickly.
At some point the metal has darkened along the edges, the bottom has turned matt grey from limescale, or a corner has picked up a dent when pulling it out that can no longer be knocked back into shape. Then it is time for a new tray. This item is the tray on its own, without grille, with the part number A01L005630 – it belongs to the classic Appartamento, not to the later TCA.
When it is due
The metal is so scaled up that it can no longer be cleaned properly, and the deposit comes back after two days. In one spot, rust bloom or a dark discolouration appears that no cleaning agent will remove any more. The tray no longer sits level and tips when you slide it in. Or the rim is warped and the grille sits crooked on it.

Who it is for
For everyone whose Appartamento is technically in good order and just no longer looks nice down below – and for everyone refurbishing a used machine. The tray is simply slid in, no workshop needed. The only important thing is that you get the right generation: the Appartamento and the Appartamento TCA have different trays.
What goes with it
The matching grille is the grille for the Rocket Appartamento drip tray. Also part of it are the plastic collecting container, the sealing plug with O-ring and the matching lock nut. For the newer generation there is the TCA drip tray without grille and the TCA drip tray with grille. Everything else is in the Rocket Appartamento spare parts and in the spare parts.

The new tray stays looking good much longer if it spends one night a week empty and dry. We pull it out in the evening, tip the water away and lean it against the machine at an angle. What finishes trays off is not the water itself, but the water that sits in them overnight. That is our routine, not a manufacturer requirement. And since you are standing there cleaning anyway: the first espresso afterwards tastes especially good with Nutty Delight or Cozy Chocolate, and it gets stronger with Very Nutty. Returns excluded
Spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are procured specifically for each order and cannot be resold after installation or a trial fitting on the machine. Therefore, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine before ordering – or drop us a quick message and we will clarify the fit together. Your rights in the event of defective goods remain unaffected.

Does the tray fit an Appartamento TCA?
No. A01L005630 belongs to the classic Appartamento. For the TCA we stock separate drip trays, with and without grille.
