The tea is steeped, the leaves are infusing, and you place the pot on the table. As you pour, the finely etched stainless steel filter holds back the leaves, the stream remains clean and controlled. The AURA Teapot brings the same calm design language to the table as the AURA kettles.

What makes the teapot special
The pot is made of 304 stainless steel, which conducts and retains heat well. The integrated, photo-etched stainless steel filter provides fine filtration, retaining even smaller tea leaves. The precision spout allows for smooth, controlled pouring, and the ergonomic handle is inspired by the Varia kettles. A non-slip silicone base ensures the pot stands securely on any surface. With 1.0 liter, it is enough for several cups.
For context: The AURA Teapot is a serving and infusion pot, not an electric kettle. You heat the water separately, for example with the AURA Smart Kettle, and pour it over the tea leaves in the pot.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the AURA Teapot a kettle?
No. It is a stainless steel serving and infusion pot with an integrated filter. You heat the water separately, for example with the AURA Smart Kettle.
Does the filter also retain fine tea leaves?
The photo-etched stainless steel filter is fine enough to largely retain even smaller leaves. Very fine tea or powder may partially pass through depending on the variety.
How many cups does the pot hold?
With 1.0 liter, it is enough for several cups – good for two to four people, depending on cup size.
Can I see the teapot before buying?
We carry Varia products in our showrooms in Bern and Zurich. Please contact us briefly in advance so that the pot is available on site.
Roastery Tip
Tea reacts to water temperature as sensitively as coffee: green tea prefers around 70 °C, white tea 75 to 80 °C, black tea tolerates more. If you set the water to the exact degree with an AURA Kettle and then pour it into the teapot, you will taste the difference. This is our recommendation, one of many.
