The red of the KB90 is neither chance nor decoration, it is the hallmark of this machine. Anyone who has a red KB90 and leaves a dented or faded panel at the back sees it every day – and the guests at an open counter see it too.
This back panel is the 2-group version in red, part number C.1.423.2.01. The chrome variant of the same position additionally carries the abbreviation GR – pay close attention to this when ordering, as the two look almost identical in the catalogue.
The paint has chipped or faded in one spot, which is especially noticeable on red. The panel has dents or an edge that no longer closes flush. A screw point has torn out. Or the machine has been moved and took a knock right at the back.

For businesses with a red KB90 who want their machine complete again. For service partners restoring the outer shell after a move or before resale. And for anyone who doesn't want to take any risk with the colour shade and therefore orders the position with the matching number.
The same panel in chrome, and for three groups the KB90 3-group chrome back panel. The same machine also takes the KB90 2-group group cover and the Straight-In latch hook kit. All parts in this series: La Marzocco KB90 spare parts.
From our workshop in Bern and Zurich
Our own routine, not a manufacturer requirement: with coloured housing parts, before fitting we place the new panel next to the machine once and look at it in daylight, not under workshop lighting. Red looks different under fluorescent tubes than in daylight, and a colour difference shows up where the machine stands, not in the workshop. Afterwards a few test shots, usually with Nutty Delight. For a more chocolatey cup, go for Cozy Chocolate, for a stronger one Very Nutty. Everything else under Coffee beans.
No returns
Original spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are procured specifically for each order and cannot be resold after installation or test fitting on the machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a quick line and we will clarify the fit together. Your rights in the case of defective goods remain unaffected.
The two positions are procured and manufactured differently. We pass on the price as it arises for us – we have not been given any reason for the difference.
The documentation doesn't give us a shade or a RAL number, so we don't claim one. If your machine comes from a special series, send us a photo before ordering.
By the number: red is C.1.423.2.01, chrome is C.1.423.2.GR.01. The abbreviation GR stands for the chrome version.
The scope of delivery hasn't been broken down for us; we assume the panel is supplied as a single part. If fastening material is missing, we will put it together for you.
Yes. Drop by in Bern at Gerberngasse 44 or in Zurich at Hagenholzstrasse 50b. Bring the old part with you and we'll compare them together.
