Rocket panel insert in copper – the coloured stripe of the Appartamento TCA
The Appartamento is defined by two things: the perforated side panel and the coloured stripe that shows through behind it. That stripe is the panel insert. It sits behind the perforated panel and gives the machine its tone – here a warm copper that shifts between bronze and rose gold depending on the light.
Because the insert is on the outside, every scratch shows. A bent corner, a scrape from a house move, a spot where a cleaning agent has dulled the surface: all of this stands out immediately, even though the machine runs perfectly from a technical point of view. Replacing the insert is therefore usually a question of looks – or of fancying a different colour.
When it's time
The insert is bent, dented or has a visible scratch. The surface is dull or stained in one spot because a harsh agent got onto it. An edge sticks out and presses against the perforated panel. Or simply: you want to switch from one colour to another without replacing the whole side panel.

The three panel inserts of the Appartamento TCA
They come in three colours, each with its own part number: Copper, A619908056, Black, A619908057 and White, A619908055. According to the information available to us, they differ technically only in colour. How many inserts your machine has – one per side or a single one – is not documented for us; count them before ordering.

Workshop tip from Bern and Zurich: We clean coloured inserts only with a soft, damp cloth and dry them immediately afterwards. We keep scouring cream, stainless steel cleaner and anything that smells of solvent away from them – we have seen too often how a surface turns dull in a single wipe. This is our experience from behind the counter, not a manufacturer specification. Does the insert also fit the older Appartamento without TCA?
Part number A619908056 is assigned to the Appartamento TCA. TCA refers to a generation, not a separate model. We have no approval for older years of manufacture – send us the serial number and we'll check it.
Do I need one or two inserts?
One piece is supplied. How many inserts are fitted to your machine is not documented for us. Check on the machine before ordering or write to us – we'll clarify it together.
What material is the insert made of and how is it coated?
Material, dimensions and type of surface are not documented for us for this part number. We make no claims about them. The colour name copper comes from the manufacturer.
Is the shade identical to the factory one?
It is the same part number that is fitted at the factory. On older machines, the existing insert may have darkened due to light and cleaning, so a new one next to it looks fresher.
Can I see the colour in the Showroom beforehand?
