The right side cover of the GS3 – clean, flush, crack-free
In everyday use, the right-hand side of the GS3 is often where the grinder or the spot for setting down cups is. That is where the cover takes the knocks, and plastic shows every one of them. A crack at the screw mount starts small and ends with the part sticking out.
This right side cover is the original part for the anthracite plastic version. The spare parts list notes “including sheet metal” – so what you receive is the cover together with the supporting sheet metal behind it.
When it's due
The cover has a crack, a broken corner or a torn-out screw mount. It no longer sits flush with the front. The plastic is deformed or faded in one spot. Or the machine is being refreshed and both sides should look the same again.

Important for installation
Behind the cover are the inner workings of the GS3, with mains voltage, boiler and hot water. Before removing the cover, the machine is switched off, disconnected from the mains and allowed to cool down. The screws are tightened only moderately – plastic mounts tear out before you notice.
Who it's for
For GS3 owners who keep their machine in good visual condition, and for service workshops that prepare a GS3 for resale.
What goes with it
The opposite side is the left side cover. For fastening, you need the chrome screw for the standard side panel and the brass nut M8 × 3; for the glass version there is the chrome screw for the glass side panel. Everything for the machine under La Marzocco GS3 spare parts.
Workshop tip from Bern and Zurich
This is our routine, not a manufacturer requirement: when one side cover is replaced, we don't automatically swap the other side as well – but we do take a look at it. Anthracite fades slightly over the years, and you can see two sides of different ages in daylight. To go with it, an espresso made with Nutty Delight. More under Coffee beans.
No returns
Original spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are procured specifically for each order and cannot be resold after installation or test fitting on the machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a quick line and we will clarify the fit together. Your rights in the case of defective goods remain unaffected.
Frequently asked questions
Why is there no part number here?
Because the spare parts list doesn't give one for this item – in its place there is only the note “including sheet metal”. We don't add a number on speculation. If you have one from your service documentation, send it to us.
Is the sheet metal really included?
Yes, that is how the spare parts list shows it. The plastic cover is supplied together with the sheet metal behind it.
Is the left side included?
No. This item is the right side cover. The left one is a separate product and is linked above.
Does the cover fit every GS3?
The GS3 comes in several versions, including with glass side panels. This item is the plastic version in anthracite. If in doubt, send us the serial number and we'll check the fit.
Can I pick up the part from your showroom?
Yes. We have two locations: Bern at Gerberngasse 44 and Zurich at Hagenholzstrasse 50b. Drop us a quick line and we'll have it ready for you.
