Chrome-plated, manufactured in the factory in Schwanden GL. Fits directly onto the Cremina portafilter with the standard thread. Two symmetrical spouts with the same cross-section ensure even distribution of the espresso.

Bottomless portafilter gives the most honest view of the puck – you see channeling, spraying, and dripping directly on the filter basket. Double spout is more subtle: uneven streams between left and right are an initial indicator. Both have their place – the choice is a matter of preference.
Can I still pull only one cup with the double spout?
Yes. Place a large cup or glass underneath, both streams will flow into it. This might be a tight fit for a small espresso cup – a single spout is better suited for that.
When should I replace the spout?
If the thread is worn, the spout no longer seals properly, or visible corrosion occurs. With normal care, a spout lasts many years.
