Velvety body, completely plastic-free
You press the plunger slowly down, the glass fogs up slightly, and what lands in the cup is a coffee with a dense, full body. That's exactly what the Core Coffee Press is made for: the familiar French press texture, velvety and heavy, combined with a clean, modern design. And all without plastic.
It is made from just two materials – high-quality stainless steel 304 and thermal-shock-tested borosilicate glass. The reusable stainless steel filter with an optimal micron level lets enough through to preserve the strong, oily character of the press method, while holding back the coarsest particles. The result is a clean, thick and velvety cup. Because no plastic is used, the Core Coffee Press is a sustainable choice for manual brewing.
In handling, it behaves like French presses from well-known brands such as Bialetti, Bodum or Alessi – so you don't change anything about your usual routine.

Who it's for
For everyone who loves the full body of press-plunger coffee and wants to do without plastic. It sits alongside the rest of our filter and French press equipment. For an even, coarse grind, it's worth a look at the coffee grinders, and freshly roasted coffee beans from our roastery go well with it.
Frequently asked questions
Is the Core Coffee Press really completely plastic-free?
Yes, it consists exclusively of stainless steel 304 and borosilicate glass – with no plastic parts.
Which grind size suits the French press?
A coarse, even grind works best. The reusable stainless steel filter provides the characteristically full body.
Can I see the Core Coffee Press before I buy it?
Our showrooms in Bern (Gerberngasse 44) and Zurich (Hagenholzstrasse 50b) show a wide selection, but not our entire range – the display changes. Drop us a quick line at [email protected] before your visit, and we will check whether the product you have in mind is currently there.
