Rocket Appartamento TCA drip tray without grid – the tray alone, when the grid is still good
Under the portafilter, the drip tray catches everything that misses during extraction: the pre-flush water, the last drops from the spout, the purge water from the steam wand. It is the component that is handled most often and appreciated least.
This item is deliberately the tray alone, without the grid. It is the right choice if the grid is still in perfect condition and only the tray underneath has lost its shape or tightness – or if you want a second tray to swap in.
When it's due
Coffee brings more than eight hundred compounds with it, and some of them settle as a sticky, greasy deposit at the bottom of the tray. If it is not removed regularly, the tray already smells rancid when you pull it out, and that is the point at which it is better to replace it than to clean it off once more.
The other signs are mechanical: a crack at one corner, a warped tray that no longer slides cleanly into the opening, or water standing on the counter under the machine even though the tray is far from full.

For everyone with an Appartamento TCA whose grid is still good and who therefore does not want to buy the whole set. And for everyone who keeps a second tray ready in daily use, so they can simply swap it when cleaning instead of waiting.
What goes with it
If tray and grid are due together, the drip tray with grid is the right item. Conversely, the drip grid is also available separately.

From our workshop
In our workshop, we never empty the tray over the sink without then rinsing it out with hot water and a little cleaning powder. The greasy film is practically impossible to shift with cold water; with hot water it dissolves in seconds. That is our routine, not a manufacturer's instruction.
And once a week we look under the tray instead of into it. That is where the water stands that has run through a leaking corner – long before you see it on the counter.

Returns excluded
Service parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are procured specifically for your order and cannot be resold after installation or a test fit on the machine.
