It's roasted in our Swiss coffee roastery, where flavour meets the precision of our food chemist Yalcin and the joy of craft. Every roast is a dialogue between knowledge and feeling – and every cup carries that story forward.

Cozy Chocolate comes from the Fazenda da Lagoa in the Brazilian highlands of Minas Gerais, in the Campo das Vertentes region. Coffee has been grown here since 1764 – today at 950 to 1155 metres above sea level, with varieties such as Obatã, Catuaí and Yellow Bourbon.
The farm is part of the Neumann Kaffee Gruppe and works to the standards of Rainforest Alliance, C.A.F.E. Practices, NKG-Verified and Regenagri. Protected forest, its own water sources and permanent jobs are part of cultivation here.
In natural processing, the coffee cherry dries slowly in the sun with its fruit flesh still on. The fruit's sugar migrates into the bean – that's why you later taste the full, velvety body and chocolatey depth.
Temperature plays a role in brewing: higher heat releases more body and sweetness, slightly lower brings out finer nuances. Cozy Chocolate stays forgiving and round either way – a coffee that meets you halfway.

As espresso it turns creamy and round, with cocoa and dark chocolate at the centre. We extract by weight ratio, 1:2 as a starting point – so from about 18 g of ground coffee, around 36 g of espresso. From there you find your own sweet spot.
In filter it shows itself softer and chocolatey, as cold brew cool with a hint of dried fruit. There's no right or wrong here – the coffee has to taste good to you, that's the only thing that counts. And because the bean, the humidity and you yourself change every day, no cup ever tastes exactly like the last. That's the beauty of it.
For everyone who loves dense, aromatic, full-bodied coffee – neat as espresso or as a round base for cappuccino and flat white. If you're looking for chocolate and nut in the profile and like things uncomplicated, you're in the right place. You need no prior knowledge – every coffee path is welcome.
Every bean tastes best freshly ground. For an even grind size, you'll find affordable and precise options among the coffee grinders like the Varia VS3, while the Varia VS6 offers more room to explore. If you grind by hand, take a look at the Comandante hand grinders.
For brewing, the brewers from the Hario Collection or the AeroPress – both affordable and versatile; if you're looking for more depth, you'll find it in the Weber Workshops range, the BIRD. To get the ratio right, a scale helps: compact and precise from the Normcore Collection, with app and flow-rate display from the Acaia Collection.

Cocoa and dark chocolate with a hint of dried fruit, plus a full, round and velvety body with mild acidity.
It works as espresso, in filter and as cold brew. For espresso a weight ratio of 1:2 is a good starting point, about 18 g of coffee to 36 g of espresso.

Yes. The full body and chocolatey sweetness carry through the milk and make it a round base for cappuccino, flat white and latte.

From the roastery: Cozy Chocolate is one of our round all-rounders. As espresso we start at 1:2 and brew it a touch warmer, so body and chocolate come through fully; in filter we grind a bit coarser for a softer, clearer cup. Together with Nutty Delight and Very Nutty it forms our body-forward line for the great majority – if you like it fruity and bright, you'll find what you're looking for in Wild Peach and Bright Cassis among our coffee beans. This is our recommendation, one of many.
