La Marzocco Milk Pitcher 60cl Chrome – Milk Jug for Several Drinks

Your hand feels it right away when the jug fills up – not heavy, just noticeably more present. Enough milk for a whole round of cappuccinos, without topping up in between. You dip the steam wand in once, froth in one go, and pour cup after cup while the foam is still glossy.

More volume also means more thermal mass: the milk takes a moment longer to heat up, but holds its temperature more evenly while you pour several drinks in a row. The chrome on the outside does its part too – cool to the touch, bright in the light, a material that doesn't give away its warmth right away while the work happens inside. Design and feel shape the enjoyment long before the first sip.

No milk foam is ever quite like the last one – fat content, freshness, even the mood in your hand change the result. That's not a limitation, that's the beauty of it. There's no foam police and no single right amount – only the question of whether you like the result and whether the crema on your latte looks the way you want it to.

60cl instead of 35cl – what the bigger volume is for

The smaller 35cl pitcher is built for the one cappuccino you want right now. The 60cl version thinks further ahead: two, three, four cups in a row, a breakfast table with several people, a morning with guests, or a small counter where several orders are waiting on milk foam one after another. You froth once, bigger, and then pour calmly, cup by cup, without dipping the steam wand back into the milk a second time.

Whether Chrome or Black ends up on your counter is purely a matter of taste – both versions froth exactly the same, the difference sits in how it feels, not in how it works. Our opinion is only one among many: Chrome next to a La Marzocco Linea Mini or GS3 plays with the light of the machine's own chrome details, while Black has its own, quieter presence. You know best what fits your counter.

Who the 60cl Pitcher Is For

The 60cl pitcher fits anywhere more than one cup is needed at once: at a breakfast table with the whole family, in an office full of coffee lovers, or at a small counter that runs on a calm pace without a stop in between. You'll feel just as at home here if you simply like to froth generously and would rather heat a bit more milk once than top up twice. How much milk you really need is something only you know – we just show you what becomes possible when there's more room in the jug.

Pairs Well With

The pitcher froths on any espresso machine with a steam wand, whether you're already part of our La Marzocco Collection or have a different machine at home. You'll find the beans to match the milk drinks you make with it in our Coffee Beans Collection – dense, full-bodied roasts pair especially well with milk foam.

For everyone who wants an affordable, precise milk pitcher: the Normcore Pitchers offer a similarly well-thought-out spout in several sizes. If you want even more control over pour and shape: Rhino and the Weber Workshops Pitchers take their own approach here. You'll find other sizes and colours from the La Marzocco range – including the 35cl version and the black finish – gathered in our Milk Pitcher Collection.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many drinks does the 60cl milk pitcher cover?

The pitcher is built for around 600 ml, enough for two to three cappuccinos or lattes in a row, depending on how much milk and foam you use per cup. For several people at the breakfast table or a small run of milk drinks, one round of frothing is usually enough.

What's the difference between the 60cl and the 35cl pitcher?

The 35cl pitcher is built for a single cappuccino, the 60cl pitcher for several drinks in a row – say when you're frothing for the whole family or serving several orders back to back at a small counter. Both work in exactly the same way technically, the only difference is the volume.

Does the pitcher work with any espresso machine?

Yes, the pitcher works with any steam wand, regardless of the machine model. It feels just as at home on a La Marzocco Linea Mini as on any other espresso machine with a steam function.

How do I care for the chrome finish?

A soft cloth and a little washing-up liquid are enough to keep the chrome finish shiny. Rinsing it briefly after frothing stops milk residue from drying on and becoming harder to remove later.

Is the pitcher also available in black or a smaller size?

Yes, in our Milk Pitcher Collection you'll find the same La Marzocco quality also as a 35cl version and in black – so you can choose size and colour to match your counter and your rhythm.

Can I see the product before I buy it?

Yes, you'll find the pitcher in our showrooms in Bern (Gerberngasse 44) and Zurich (Hagenholzstrasse 50b), where you can experience it live before you decide.

Roastery Tip

From the roastery, for creamy milk drinks we usually recommend Cozy Chocolate or Nutty Delight – both dense, aromatic, with a sweetness that pairs especially well with warm milk foam. If you want maximum body without any acidity, Very Nutty is your roast. And for anyone curious about a fruity experience: Wild Peach shows how different a milk drink can taste – a side note for anyone who likes to explore. That's our recommendation, one among many; other beans work just as well in this pitcher.
