La Marzocco Milk Pitcher 60 cl Black – Stainless Steel Milk Jug with a Matte Finish
The first white thread crossing a dark rim, just before the rosetta takes shape: on matte black, every line of your milk foam stands out more sharply.
No shine to distract, no light bouncing back – the matte black surface absorbs the light while the foam sits brighter against it. That contrast holds a small, often overlooked advantage: what you pour, you see more clearly, before the cup is even full. Design and feel shape the enjoyment long before the first sip – true for the machine on the counter just as much as for the jug in your hand.
600 millilitres of volume means you do not have to steam fresh milk for every single cup. For two cappuccinos in a row, for you and someone else at the breakfast table, or simply because you would rather steam generously than refill twice – this stainless steel pitcher carries the La Marzocco logo and sits calmly in the hand thanks to its ergonomic handle and precise spout, even when it is full to the rim.
More milk also means more thermal mass: it takes a moment longer to reach steaming temperature, then holds that warmth more evenly while you pour cup after cup. The heat receptors in your hand notice this before you could even put it into words – one more reason why the vessel you choose is never just about looks.

Who the 60 cl Pitcher Is For
Whether you are just starting to pull shapes in milk foam or you could pour a rosetta in your sleep by now, the 60 cl pitcher earns its place wherever more than one cup is called for. At a family breakfast table, in an office full of coffee lovers, or simply because you would rather steam generously once than top up twice. Only you really know how much milk you need – we just show you what becomes possible once there is more room in the jug.
Goes Well With
This pitcher steams on any espresso machine with a steam wand, whether you are already part of our La Marzocco Collection or have a different machine at home. For the milk drinks you make with it, you will find dense, full-bodied roasts in our coffee beans collection – they pair especially well with steamed milk.
For anyone who wants a milk pitcher that is affordable and precise: the Normcore pitchers offer a similarly well thought-out spout in several sizes. If you are after even more control over pour and shape, the Weber Workshops pitchers go their own way – no budget is ever just an entry point, both paths are equally valid. Other sizes and finishes from the La Marzocco range, including the 35 cl version and the chrome finish, are gathered in our milk pitcher collection. Whether black or chrome ends up on your counter is really a matter of taste – our opinion is just one of many, and you know best what suits your setup.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many drinks does the 60 cl pitcher make?
It is designed for around 600 ml, enough for two to three cappuccinos or lattes in a row, depending on how much milk and foam you use per cup. For breakfast for two, or a small round of milk drinks, one steaming session is usually enough.
What is the difference between the 60 cl and the 35 cl pitcher?
The 35 cl pitcher is built for a single cappuccino, the 60 cl pitcher for several drinks in a row. Both work in exactly the same way technically, the only difference is volume – which size suits you depends on how many cups you usually make at once.
Is the pitcher also available in chrome?
Yes, the same La Marzocco quality is available in our milk pitcher collection in chrome as well, and as a smaller 35 cl version. Whether black or chrome sits on your counter is purely a matter of taste – both steam in exactly the same way, the difference is in feel, not function.
How do I care for the black surface?
A soft cloth and a little washing-up liquid are enough to keep the matte surface clean. Rinsing it briefly after steaming stops milk residue from drying on and becoming harder to remove later – and on matte black, water spots are also less noticeable than on a glossy surface.
Will the pitcher fit my machine and setup?
The pitcher works with any steam wand, regardless of the machine model – from a single-boiler home machine to a multi-group espresso machine. If you are unsure whether size or colour suits your setup, just write to us at office@coffeecoachingclub.ch and we will happily take a look together with you.
Can I see the product before buying it?
Yes, you will find the pitcher in our showrooms in Bern (Gerberngasse 44) and Zurich (Hagenholzstrasse 50b) and can experience it live there before you decide.
Roastery Tip
From the roastery, we usually recommend Cozy Chocolate or Nutty Delight for creamy milk drinks – both dense, aromatic, with a sweetness that pairs especially well with warm milk foam. If you are after maximum body without any acidity, Very Nutty is your roast. And for anyone curious about a fruity experience: Wild Peach shows how differently a milk drink can taste – a side note for the curious among us. This is our recommendation, one of many; other beans work just as well in this pitcher.
