Nutty Delight – coffee blend Brazil & India

A dense crema, roasted hazelnut underneath and a full, creamy body that lingers long: Nutty Delight is our house blend for anyone who likes it bold and nutty – mixed from two coffee worlds, created at the request of our community.

We roast it in our Swiss coffee roastery and calibrate the two components so that strength and balance come together. Flavour as craft, not as chance.

Two components, one rounded character

Nutty Delight combines 80% Brazilian natural Arabica with 20% Indian parchment AB Robusta. The Arabica brings velvety chocolate and nut notes and a soft body; the Robusta lays down structure, intense nuttiness and a dense crema underneath.

That's how the blend carries its origin proudly into the cup: full-bodied, creamy and with a long, subtly spiced finish.

Why this particular mix

Robusta naturally delivers more body and a more stable crema, Arabica more sweetness and finesse. In the 80/20 mix, the two complement each other – that's our take on an everyday, characterful espresso. Others mix differently, and that's fine too.

How Nutty Delight tastes in the cup

As espresso it turns intense and creamy, with clear nuttiness. We extract by weight ratio, 1:2 as a starting point – around 18 g of coffee to 36 g of espresso. In milk it unfolds its full strength: a rounded, nutty cappuccino or flat white. In filter, too, it shows strength with subtle sweetness.

There's no right or wrong here – the only thing that counts is that it tastes good to you. And because the bean, the humidity and you yourself change every day, no cup is ever quite the same as the last.

Who Nutty Delight is made for

For everyone looking for a bold, creamy, nutty coffee – everyday, versatile and full of character. If you love milk drinks and want an espresso that carries through, this is the one for you. No prior knowledge needed, every coffee path counts.

What you need for it

Freshly ground, the blend shows at its best. Among the coffee grinders you'll find affordable, precise options like the Varia VS3, while the Varia VS6 offers more range; for hand grinding, use the Comandante hand grinders.

Because Nutty Delight shines in milk, a good pitcher from the barista milk pitchers is worth it – compact from Normcore or premium from Weber Workshops and Rhino. To get the ratio right, a scale helps: compact from the Normcore Collection, or with app and flow-rate display from the Acaia Collection.

The roast profile of this bean was developed by Yalcin, a qualified food chemist with over 15 years of experience in the international flavour industry, most recently as Senior Taste Designer at Philip Morris International. More about his background at our roastery.

From the roastery: Nutty Delight is our nutty all-rounder for everyday and for milk. For espresso we start at 1:2; for cappuccino the shot may run a touch more concentrated, so the nut carries through the milk. Together with Cozy Chocolate and Very Nutty it forms our full-bodied line for the large majority – anyone who prefers fruity and light will find Wild Peach and Bright Cassis among our coffee beans. That's our recommendation, one among many.
