We roast it with a focus on body in our Swiss coffee roastery to fully bring out its nutty warmth and crema.
In Karnataka and Kerala, Robusta plants grow under dense canopies at altitudes of 850 to 950 meters. There, they develop their typical strength, voluminous crema, and unmistakable nutty notes.
In the cup, Very Nutty is full-bodied and creamy at the same time – a coffee that conveys strength and richness without losing its balance.
Robusta naturally offers more body, a more stable crema, and very low acidity. This is exactly what makes Very Nutty a dense, nutty base – pure as a strong espresso or as a foundation for milk drinks with depth.

As an espresso, it becomes dense, nutty, and creamy, with a crema that holds. We extract by weight ratio, 1:2 as a starting point – about 18g of coffee to 36g of espresso. In milk, it becomes an earthy-warm, nutty cappuccino with plenty of substance.
There's no right or wrong – the coffee has to taste good to you, that's all that matters. And because the bean, humidity, and you yourself change daily, no two cups are exactly alike.
For everyone who likes it maximally full-bodied, creamy, and nutty – without pronounced acidity. If you love strong espresso and rich milk drinks, you've come to the right place. No prior knowledge is needed; every coffee journey is welcome.
Freshly ground, the crema comes out best. Among the coffee grinders, you'll find affordable and precise options like the Varia VS3, while the Varia VS6 offers more flexibility; for hand grinding, use the Comandante hand grinders.
