Normcore Dosing Cup Tall Black
The ground coffee falls directly into the cup from the grinder, not onto the counter. You lift it up, tip it over the portafilter, and the ground coffee neatly goes into the basket. A simple vessel that makes the journey from grinder to basket smoother.
A sleek black dosing cup that keeps the transfer from grinder to portafilter clean and minimizes loss.
What makes this dosing cup special
Form and function remain simple: The cup receives the ground coffee and dispenses it into the basket in a controlled manner. A circumferential rim provides better compatibility with many grinders. The stainless steel is rust-resistant, so you can spray a few drops of water before grinding to reduce static – known as RDT.
The cup is made of food-grade 304 stainless steel with a non-stick coating that reduces residue and is easy to clean. With a 60g capacity, it's suitable for typical single-dose amounts. Whether you work with a dosing cup or a funnel is a matter of taste, and this is just our view, one of many.

Frequently Asked Questions about the Normcore Dosing Cup
What is a dosing cup for?
It collects the ground coffee from the grinder and transfers it cleanly and with minimal loss into the basket. This makes the single-dose workflow smoother and helps with more even distribution.
Will the cup fit my grinder?
The circumferential rim fits many grinders with an output around 58 mm. If in doubt, briefly compare it with the output opening of your grinder.
What does RDT mean?
Ross Droplet Technique involves spraying one or two drops of water onto the beans before grinding to reduce static electricity. The rust-resistant stainless steel of the cup is suitable for this.
Is the cup dishwasher safe?
Yes, this dosing cup is dishwasher safe. The non-stick coating reduces residue and makes cleaning easier.
Roastery Tip
A clean workflow helps every bean. For dense, sweet espresso, we often reach for Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight. If you like it full-bodied and round without any acidity, stick with Very Nutty; for a fruity experience, Wild Peach goes into the grinder. This is our recommendation, one of many, and any bean you like is the right one.
