Eureka Mignon Specialita White – compact espresso grinder with 55mm steel burrs
The touchscreen takes your dose, you set the portafilter into the height-adjustable hands-free fork and press start – the Specialità grinds quietly and stops on its own once the set time is up. The heavy, sound-insulated metal housing keeps the grinding noise muffled, and the ACE-System lets the grounds fall loose into the portafilter, free of static clumps.
The Mignon Specialità is the best-selling home espresso grinder in its range – compact, quiet and built for portafilter espresso. Coffee Coaching Club carries the Eureka range; Eureka has been making it by hand in Florence, Italy since 1920. This version is white; the Specialità is also available in chrome and matte black.
55mm steel burrs and stepless adjustment
The 55mm flat burrs made of hardened steel grind fast and evenly. The stepless micrometric adjustment – patented by Eureka and guided through the lower burr – allows fine adjustments from espresso to filter, with no fixed notches. Maintenance work can be carried out without losing your grind setting.
Touchscreen and grind-by-time
Through the touchscreen you program two dosing times in 0.1-second increments plus a manual continuous pull. A barista pause lets you interrupt the grinding and resume it later – the grinder automatically finishes the remaining time. The height-adjustable, rubberised hands-free fork fits all portafilters, including bottomless ones.
Silent Technology and ACE
The sound-insulated metal housing with rubber mounts noticeably dampens the grinding noise – quieter than conventional grinders. The ACE-System (Anti-Clump & Electrostaticity) reduces clumping and static charge, so the grounds fall loose and dosing-consistent into the portafilter.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Specialità available in other colours?
This version is white. The Specialità is also available in chrome and matte black – the burr set and technology are identical.
Is it suited for single dosing?
The Specialità grinds from a 300 g bean hopper with timer dosing. Single doses are possible, but retention is higher than with a dedicated single-dose grinder. If you switch beans constantly, a single-dose grinder suits you better.
How loud is it?
Thanks to the sound-insulated metal housing and Silent Technology, noticeably quieter than conventional grinders. The truest impression comes from experiencing it in person at the showroom.
Can I see it before buying?
Of course. In Bern and Zürich Oerlikon you can experience the grinder live. Bringing your own beans is welcome.
Roastery tip
The 55mm steel burrs deliver a clean, balanced espresso. For a round, chocolatey-nutty profile, reach for Cozy Chocolate or Nutty Delight. If you're after maximum body with no acidity, reach for Very Nutty. Work your way to your setting in small steps. This is our recommendation, one of many.
