Features of the La Marzocco Pico
Quiet and precise grinding
A brushless induction motor and a sound-dampening construction keep the grinding noise low. According to La Marzocco, grind consistency stays high at the same time.
Programmable portafilter activation
Three buttons for selecting the dose, with optional activation via the portafilter. The adjustable magnetic portafilter fork holds the portafilter while grinding.
Easy grind adjustment
The adjustment ring has a noticeable stepped feel. This lets you switch quickly between grind settings.
Fast and accurate
According to La Marzocco, an 18 g dose is ground in under 10 seconds, fluffy and even, shot after shot.
Designed by La Marzocco
The solid build follows the design language of La Marzocco espresso machines from more than 90 years.
The details in everyday use
Self-closing hopper
The hopper holds around 300 g of beans. To remove it, you turn it, and it closes automatically. This way you change beans without any beans falling out.
Programmable dosing
Two doses can be saved, plus manual grinding.
Activation via portafilter
Tap and release: the portafilter starts the grind, the magnetic fork holds it, and your hands are free.
Conical or flat?
Conical and flat burrs are like engines in cars: both approaches have their place, there is no objectively best one. What matters is that you enjoy the espresso. We describe extraction by weight ratio, with 1:2 as a starting point, not by time. Beans, humidity and people change every day, no shot is the same as the one before. That is our opinion, one of many.

Who the Pico is made for
For everyone who makes espresso at home with one bean over several days and prefers a hopper to a single-dose grinder. The portafilter fork makes grinding hands-free. If you already own a La Marzocco machine, you will find the same design language in the Pico. It is not necessary, many grinders grind just as well for most espressos. You want it, or you don't.
If you change beans often, take a look at single-dose grinders, for example in our Varia Collection or from Option-O. You will find an overview of all models under coffee grinders. Our advice tool helps you narrow things down, and in a free consultation appointment we talk about your setup. If you want to test grinders side by side, you can book the espresso machine and grinder comparison in the showroom, an option, not a requirement.
What goes with it
You will find matching machines in the La Marzocco Collection and under coffee machines. For everyone who wants scales that are affordable and precise: the Normcore Collection. If you want an app, Bluetooth and a flow rate display: the Acaia Collection. Tampers, WDT tools and puck screens are available affordably from Normcore, and if you want more, you will find them at Weber Workshops. Grinder cleaners are under machine and grinder cleaning.

Our showrooms in Bern (Gerberngasse 44) and Zurich (Hagenholzstrasse 50b) show a wide selection, but not every model is set up at all times. Write to us at [email protected] before your visit, and we will check whether the Pico is currently on display.
How fast is delivery?
Delivery takes 2–4 working days, throughout Switzerland and to Liechtenstein. Click & Collect is available in Bern and Zurich.
Tip from the roastery: For the large majority, we recommend dense, full-bodied espressos with chocolate and nut: Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight. For maximum body without acidity: Very Nutty. If you want to discover a fruity experience, you will find it in Wild Peach. Other beans work just as well. This is our recommendation, one of many.
