The M47 Simplicity brings the range's 47 mm burr set into a lighter build: hopper and catch cup in plastic, plus the self-centring axle and thumb stopper. At Coffee Coaching Club, you'll find the whole M47 family.
Same burrs, built lighter
The 47 mm conical burr set in stainless steel with Black Fusion coating is the same as in the Classic – same even particle distribution, same stepless, numbered adjustment. Here the hopper and catch cup are made of ABS plastic instead of stainless steel, which makes the grinder a little lighter.
Self-centring and grip
The self-centring axle is held by two upright steel parts and runs smoothly; the thumb stopper gives secure grip while cranking. Grinding by hand generates no heat and barely any static charge – the grounds fall loosely into the cup.

Does the Simplicity have the same burrs as the Classic?
Yes, the same 47 mm conical burr set in stainless steel with Black Fusion coating. The difference lies in the material of the hopper and cup: ABS plastic instead of stainless steel.
What's the difference between Simplicity and Phoenix?
The Simplicity has a self-centring axle and a thumb stopper. The Phoenix does without these, uses a five-point plastic system, and is lighter.
Is it suited for espresso and filter?
Yes. The stepless burr set covers the range from fine for espresso to coarse for filter and French press.
How much coffee does it hold?
The hopper holds around 40 to 50 grams of beans, enough for about four portions of espresso or filter coffee.
Can I see the grinder before buying?
