Rocket Appartamento TCA Stainless Steel/Black – Dual-Circuit Espresso Machine
Compact on the counter, the embossed circles on the black side panels set a quiet contrast against the stainless steel, and the E61 group is ready to go. The Appartamento has always been the Rocket for the home kitchen – the TCA generation adds adjustable boiler pressure and a reworked body. This version: stainless steel body with black side panels. The colour itself isn't a technical question – black next to stainless steel is understated, clean, almost quiet in the room. Nobody needs black instead of copper, the machine pulls the same espresso either way. Our opinion on colour is one of many – what matters is what speaks to you when you walk into the kitchen in the morning.
Coffee Coaching Club is a partner of Rocket in Switzerland. A private barista course can be booked separately.

Heat Exchanger with E61 Group
A heat exchanger system with the classic E61 brew group: brew and steam back to back with no waiting, with mechanical pre-infusion. The E61 has been a Rocket standard for decades – proven, direct, with pre-infusion you can feel in the puck. How strong you extract is best read off the weight ratio in the cup (1:2 is a solid starting point), never off the clock alone.
Adjustable Boiler Pressure (TCA)
TCA stands for Temperature Control Adjustment. Boiler pressure adjusts from 0.9 to 1.2 bar in 0.1 bar increments (default 1 bar) – so you fine-tune brew temperature indirectly to match your bean.
Reworked Design
Rounded sides, embossed circles and a vertical logo, designed by Valerio Cometti+V12 Design.
Configurable Standby and Water Tank with Reserve Sensor
Standby off or after 30 minutes, your choice, a 1.9-litre water tank with reserve sensor, and a generous drip tray.

Who It's For
For anyone who wants a compact E61 machine for the home kitchen, one that needs little space yet still brings the full Rocket character. With adjustable boiler pressure, the TCA gives you a range the classic Appartamento doesn't have. It comes down to wanting it – that's enough.
What Pairs With It
The matching grinder: affordable and precise from the Varia Collection, or more from the Eureka grinders. The same principle applies to tampers: compact and reliable from Normcore, with more presence on the counter from Weber Workshops. Scales come in both price ranges too – from Normcore, or with app and flow-rate display from Acaia. For help choosing, see the Machine Comparison.

Yes, in our showrooms in Bern and Zurich. Delivery across Switzerland and to Liechtenstein in 2–4 working days, with Click and Collect and financing via Heylight available.
Roastery Tip
With the adjustable boiler pressure, you can fine-tune things to your bean. Our Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight are a reliable place to start. That's our recommendation, one of many.
