The Superkop is a minimalist, electricity-free lever espresso machine with a 58 mm portafilter. The lever and portafilter are made of polished stainless steel, the casing from powder-coated aluminum.
The lever and 58 mm portafilter are made of polished stainless steel, the internal parts from steel, and the casing from powder-coated aluminum. The polycarbonate water cup holds the hot water, so you don't need to preheat – just pour and pull.
Through a displacement ratio of 1:40, you gently build up pressure in five to six smooth strokes; the extraction takes about 25 to 30 seconds. A one-way valve with a pneumatic spring returns the lever and maintains pressure between strokes, and a button releases the pressure at the end. A safety valve opens at 20 bar. The basket holds 18 grams.
Our opinion is one of many.

Freshly ground tastes best: electrically from our coffee grinders or by hand from the hand grinders. For tamping, a tamper, plus fresh espresso beans. Our consultation tool helps with the choice.
No. It works completely electricity-free – you pour in hot water and pull the lever.
No. The polycarbonate water cup holds the hot water, so no preheating is necessary.
A 58 mm portafilter made of polished stainless steel is included; the basket holds 18 grams.
Gladly. You can experience it live in our showrooms in Bern (Gerberngasse 44) and Zurich Oerlikon (Hagenholzstrasse 50b).
For a dense, round espresso, you're spot on with Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight – chocolatey, nutty, full-bodied. For maximum body without acidity, try Very Nutty; for a fruity-bright experience, Wild Peach is worthwhile. This is our recommendation, one of many.
