Torre Pierino – Single Boiler Espresso Machine with E61 and PID
The lever of the E61 group gives way slightly, the ground coffee sits in the sieve, and with a gentle pull, the espresso begins to flow into the cup – one machine, one task, fully focused on the extraction.
The Torre Pierino is a compact single boiler espresso machine, handmade in Italy. It combines the classic E61 brew group and electronic temperature control in a sleek stainless steel housing that fits on any counter.
E61, ERGOLIFT, and PID
At its heart is the E61 group with thermosiphon circulation, which keeps the brewing temperature stable. The ERGOLIFT lever moves smoothly and feels comfortable in the hand. You can select the temperature between 80 and 100 °C via the PID control – allowing you to adjust the extraction for both light and dark roasts. With espresso, there is no right or wrong: grind size, dose, and ratio are the adjustment screws, a good starting point is 1:2.
Single Boiler in Everyday Use
As a single boiler, the Pierino extracts espresso and then steams milk – calmly and uncomplicatedly, good for one or two cups at a time. The insulated 0.75-liter boiler heats up quickly, the vibration pump builds up the pressure, and the Chrono function shows you the brewing time. A single boiler is no longer just for pure espresso drinkers – even the occasional cappuccino is successful.
We partner with Torre. Our opinion is one of many.

Freshly ground coffee is made in our coffee grinders – affordable and precise from the Varia series, finely crafted with the Weber Workshops EG-1. For dose and ratio, a scale: compact from the Normcore series or with an app from the Acaia collection. Even tamping is done with a tamper. Unsure about the combination? Our machine and grinder consultation can help.

Roastery Tip
Fresh coffee makes all the difference. For a full-bodied and chocolatey taste, try Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight. For maximum body without acidity, go for Very Nutty, and for a brighter, fruity profile, try Wild Peach. This is our recommendation, one of many.
