Kinu M47 Classic – Hand Grinder with 47 mm Stainless Steel Conical Burr
The crank folds out, a few even turns follow, and the grounds fall fine and consistent into the cup – no power needed, just the calm weight of solid stainless steel in your hand.
The M47 Classic is the full-featured model in the Kinu M47 lineup: hopper and catch cup in stainless steel, a self-centering axle and a practical thumb stopper. At Coffee Coaching Club you'll find the whole M47 family.
Burrs and Adjustment
At the core work 47 mm conical stainless steel burrs with Black Fusion coating – hardened and durable. They cut the beans into even particles, the foundation for a clean extraction. The stepless, numbered adjustment dials in the grind size precisely and reproducibly, from espresso to filter, with no fixed click stops.
Solid Stainless Steel for Everyday Use
On the Classic, the bean hopper and catch cup are made of stainless steel – sturdy and stable. The self-centering axle keeps the burr set steady, and the thumb stopper gives you a secure grip while cranking. That way you grind evenly, quietly, and without the heat or static buildup you get with some electric grinders.

How much coffee does it hold?
The hopper holds around 40 to 50 grams of beans, enough for about four servings of espresso or filter coffee.
Can I see the grinder before buying?
Of course. In our showrooms in Bern (Gerberngasse 44) and Zürich Oerlikon (Hagenholzstrasse 50b) you can experience the grinder live. Feel free to bring your own beans.
Roastery Tip
The 47 mm conical burr set brings body and clarity at the same time. For a round, chocolatey, nutty espresso, reach for Cozy Chocolate or Nutty Delight, for maximum body without acidity Very Nutty. If you're looking for a lighter, fruity profile in filter, discover Wild Peach – work your way there in small steps. That's our recommendation, one of many.
