MONIN Mango Syrup – sweet, fragrant mango for lemonade, iced tea and cocktails
MONIN Mango Syrup brings the scent of ripe mango to lemonade, iced tea, Daiquiri and Mojito. 700 ml, alcohol-free, available in Bern and Zurich.
The mango originally comes from the forests of India, has been cultivated for more than four millennia and is on the market today in 100 varieties. MONIN captures its sweet taste in a fragrant syrup, according to MONIN with natural colourings and flavourings as well as natural preservatives.
That a sip of mango lemonade tastes so clearly of fruit has a lot to do with the nose. As you swallow, aroma compounds rise through the throat to the olfactory mucosa, retronasally, and a large part of what we call aroma only comes into being there. Besides drinks, MONIN also names the kitchen: chutneys, fruit salads and dairy products.

Our showrooms in Bern (Gerberngasse 44) and Zurich (Hagenholzstrasse 50b) show a wide selection, but not our entire range – the display changes. Which flavours are on site at any given time may vary. Drop us a quick line at [email protected] before your visit, and we will check whether the product you have in mind is currently there.
Tip from the roastery: Mango in coffee is rather something for the curious. If you want to discover it: espresso over ice, a little syrup, topped up with tonic. For this we use an espresso with body, Cozy Chocolate or Nutty Delight, brewed at a 1:2 ratio. If you like it fruity in the bean as well, you find a light alternative in Wild Peach. That is our recommendation, one of many.
