How We Select Brands

Three criteria determine whether a brand joins our range. First, the cup: How does the equipment perform in real-world use with our beans, in our water, on our machines? We cup, we compare, we decide based on what we taste. Second, build quality: Do the devices last for years? Are they repairable? Are spare parts available? Third, manufacturer relationship: Do partners respond quickly? Do they stand behind their products?

We do not carry brands that do not meet these three criteria – even if the manufacturers wish us to.
