Slayer Espresso Steam Single – single-group machine with an internal water tank
The shot is pulled with a variable flow rate, while a dedicated pre-brew circuit gently wets the puck – the Slayer Steam idea, now in a compact single group.
The Slayer Espresso Steam Single brings features from the Slayer Steam LP into a smaller format – with an internal water tank for the first time, ideal for cafés with limited space and for home use. Made to order.
Internal tank and pre-brew
For the first time, a Slayer has an internal 2.5-litre water tank – so it can be set up without a fixed water connection. A dedicated pre-brew circuit wets the coffee bed gently and evenly, the foundation for balanced extractions.
Manual, programmable, separate PID boilers
Shots are pulled manually with a variable flow rate, and up to two recipes can be saved for repeatable results. Separate, PID-controlled brew and steam boilers keep the temperature stable. The compact housing measures around 45.7 × 36.8 × 57.1 cm and weighs about 38 kg.
Our opinion is one of many.

Frequently asked questions
Does the Steam Single need a water connection?
No. For the first time at Slayer, it has an internal 2.5-litre water tank, so no fixed connection is needed.
What does the pre-brew circuit do?
It wets the coffee bed gently and evenly before the actual extraction – this helps produce balanced shots.
How big is it?
Compact: around 45.7 cm wide, 36.8 cm high and 57.1 cm deep, at about 38 kg.
Can I see the machine before buying?
Of course. In our showrooms in Bern (Gerberngasse 44) and Zürich Oerlikon (Hagenholzstrasse 50b) you can experience the machines live. Bringing your own beans is welcome.
Roastery tip
For a dense, round espresso, you're spot on with Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight – chocolatey, nutty, full-bodied. If you're after maximum body with no acidity, go for Very Nutty; for a fruity, bright experience, it's worth trying Wild Peach. That's our recommendation, one of many.
