The corner that makes a GB5 X look either well cared for or neglected
This small plate covers the corner above the machine foot. It is exactly the spot the mop hits during cleaning, where the machine touches down when it is moved and where dripping water runs along.
That is why it is the first part to show the wear of daily bar life: bent edges, dents, limescale rings. Because the GB5 X usually looks flawless otherwise, this very corner stands out. The plate is replaced individually, part number C.2.052.
When it is due
A replacement makes sense if:
- the plate is bent and no longer sits flush,
- dents or scratches make the corner look untidy,
- limescale rings have etched into it,
- the edge has become sharp and gets in the way when cleaning.

We ask businesses not to manoeuvre around the machine when mopping the floor, but to briefly pull out the mat underneath it instead. Most bent corner plates are not caused by day-to-day operation, but by the cleaning trolley. This is our own observation, not a manufacturer specification. Service parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are sourced specifically for each order and cannot be resold after installation or a test fitting on the machine. So before ordering, please check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a quick message and we will check the fit together.
